Beijing CNCotton: According to official release from State Administration of Customs, polyester production reached 1.46 million tons, up 21.46 percent from year ago level.

September 2004 through June 2005 cumulative polyester production reached 12.30 million tons, representing a 9.84 percent year-on-year growth. January through June 2005, polyester production achieved a 7.3 percent year-on-year increase to 7.37 million tons.
